Soon there will be so much more for you to see, I am about to add a short story, and soon there will be two new books for you to review, The first a new ghost story that I do not have a title for yet, the next,
When Night Reigns Supreme, a collection of horror tales and ghost stories.
I hope to keep you interested by offering a short tale, taken from "When Night Reigns Supreme" called "The Picture on the wall"

"The Sea shall give up its Dead"
will be my next novel and as luck would have it a horror novel and so completely suitable for this site.
I thought that I would add the first lines from it here.
It was a quiet night for December, the wind stilled, the stars and moon obscured with black cloud even though it was not raining. I switched on the outside light before I ventured out into the cold for my evening cigarette, the soft glow of the low voltage eco bulb hardly making a dent in the darkness, rather a six foot globe of misty light. It illuminated the small deck I walked out onto for my smoke but did not penetrate the surrounding night. I could smell the sea that lay a few yards across a sandy beach from my deck but even the crash of the waves was hushed on this still night. I stood at the rail and looked out but could see nothing other than darkness. Had I invested in a better light, or took a torch out with me, then I may have been prepared for all that happened. But on that night I could not see the resurrected bodies of dead fishermen that crawled from the sea towards my small cottage, gathered at the bottom of my wooden steps, heaped one upon another trying to get to me.
Some had been my friends, some were yet to be, as they had died before I was born but we had an enemy to fight.

Mama.
It were de voices in ma head, dey tole me ta do it, mama, and i could not stop em, they made me mama, they made me write it.
I didna want to, i didna mama, but they made me mama, they made me.
They told me to, and i did as i was tole, you told me mama to always do as i was tole and i did mama, i did.
I did as i was tole.
I wrote it just like they said, the voices, i wrote it mama. I picked up the sheet of paper an I wrote it down
I tole them mama just as i tole you. I gotta do it mama, i gotta.
I did what you said, mama and did as i was tole. You tole me to listen to my elders and do as i was tole, well i did as i was tole mama, and dey are so old, the voices, much older than you mama and i did as i was tole by my elders. Just as you tole me to mama.
I didna mean to hurt you mama, but they told me to and you tole me to listen to my elders and they are so old mama, so very old mama, so i did as you said and listened, you always said i was not listening but i was, to my elders and i did as i was tole mama, i did what you tole me to.
I love you mama i said as you bent down to kiss and hug me, i only took your eyes cause they tole me to mama and you tole me to do what my elders told me to do.
They are so very old mama.
Mama?
Mama?
why are you not moving?
I'm you're little girl mama, I love you mama. Mama talk to me, i'm still your girl, ain't i mama, Mama. Mama?
